border-box;">早在1992年，我们推出1+1助学行动项目。在当年，救助失学儿童的规模就突破了30万人，但这也为管理带来了巨大挑战。每一个救助案例都需要经过20多道程序处理，这意味着总共要处理700多万道程序，单靠人脑，还要保证不出错是绝对不可能的。于是，我们决定引入计算机技术，与当时国内计算机领域最优秀的航天部第二研究院合作，开发了计算机管理信息系统。这个系统在当年是全国最先进的。</p><p border-box;">2000年4月26日，在搜狐公司，我与搜狐公司首席执行官张朝阳作了一番关于互联网与公益的对话。我说：“互联网和公益事业有一种天然亲和力。信息产品与传统商品最大的不同点是它可以让亿万人共享，因为它的这种公共性，使得它与公益事业有着天然的联系。特别有意思的现象是：现在的互联网公司好像就是在做公益事业。从新闻到教育、科技、文化、娱乐、通讯，还有网上虚拟社区的交流，都是免费的，感觉好像是公益机构在做网站……说搜狐是公益网站也不为过。”。</p></section></section></section></section></section></section></section><section
